The actress was nominated for the award of Best Young Performer at the Critics Choice Movie Awards in the year 2010 for her performance in Sofia Coppola's Somewhere. The year after, her appearance in Super 8 as the main role earned she the Spotlight Award for the Hollywood thriller Festival. After playing the titular character on We Bought a Zoo and Ginger & Rosa, she also played in the role of Princess Aurora as in Maleficent and Maleficent: The Mistress Of Evil.
