Barone played in the fourth season Seinfeld Episode The Shoes as Gail Cunningham a chef who wanted Elaine Benes shoes. Barone was also a part-time cast member of Carol & Company, starring as Carol Burnett in the early 90s. Barone Also, she played the role of Carol Willick Ross Geller's wife in Friendsthe initial episode. Barone left the show when she was seeking an additional full-time job. She was substituted by Jane Sibbett. Barone was a part of The Jeff Foxworthy Show for the initial season (1995-1996) and in The War at Home from 2005 through 2007. Then, in 2000 Barone played a part in the show Daddio.
