Richard Bruce Cheney, son of Richard Herbert Cheney & Marjorie Lauraine Dickey was born on January 30, 1941, in Lincoln Nebraska. When he was 13 years old, he relocated together with family members from Nebraska to Casper within the Western state of Wyoming and his father was the director of the local district of soil conservation for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
