Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience started at the age of 14. After a kickboxing training session, wrestling BJJ and BJJ she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd was on a stunning 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent in the very first round. Then she returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was able to hand Aspen a unanimous defeat and beat her in a match that tarnished Ladd's career as an amateur. Ladd recovered from the defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record up to 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta fight Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta '11 and she won by first-round TKO. The next time she fought, she won in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then fought at the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen used superior wrestling to take down McGill in the third round via TKO. Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at weight of catchweight (138.1lb) As Ladd did not have enough weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. Aspen won her fight by KO in the 2nd round. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her last bout in the organization. The winner was Sijara Ebanks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She outclassed Lina and pounded her with a ground-and-pound to pick up a second-round TKO victory. She continued her dominance and racked up an stunning victory in her next bout against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the first round. Also, she was awarded an extra bonus for her performance that evening. Her first fight of note came in her next fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. The two fighters had an intense fight which Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. The two fighters each received their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd in 16-seconds to break her losing streak. The third time she fought on UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. For a replacement last minute to her UFC match, she faced Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. She was beaten by a unanimous verdict.
